This policy explains how Kalmflex ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit kalmflex.com or place an order. We handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the laws that apply where you live.

2. What we collect

Identity and contact details: name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number (optional).
Orders: products bought, amounts, order history, messages with our customer service team.
Payment: handled directly by our secure payment providers. We never store your card details.
Browsing: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and data from cookies (see section 8).
Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.

3. Why we use it

To process and deliver your orders, and handle returns, refunds and customer service.
To meet our accounting, tax and legal obligations.
To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
To improve the site and measure its audience (analytics cookies).
To email you our offers and news, if you've agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email.
To show you relevant ads on other sites and social media (advertising cookies).

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run our business, who act on our instructions:

our e-commerce platform and host (Shopify);
our payment providers;
our carriers and logistics partners, for delivery;
our email and customer service tools;
our analytics and advertising partners (for example Meta or Google);
government authorities, when the law requires it.

5. Overseas disclosure

Kalmflex and some of our service providers are located outside Australia, mainly in the United States, Canada and the European Union. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. How long we keep it

Order and billing records: as long as tax and accounting laws require (up to 7 years in Australia).
Customer account: until you delete it, or 3 years after your last activity.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, or 3 years after our last contact.
Cookies: 13 months at most.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, withdraw your consent to marketing at any time, and ask us to delete your information where the law allows. Email us at info@kalmflex.com and we'll reply within 30 days.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your request, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): www.oaic.gov.au.

8. Cookies

We use cookies the site needs to work (cart, checkout, security, language preferences). We also use analytics and advertising cookies; you can change your choices at any time in the cookie banner or your browser settings.

9. Security

The site uses HTTPS and payments are encrypted. Access to your information is limited to the people and providers who need it.

10. Children

The site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information about anyone under 16.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
